In 2008, the organization Zuiderduin Masters adds a ladies tournament to its tournament. Eight ladies determine via a knockout tournament who is best. Because the ladies recently lost the World Darts Trophy from the calendar, this gesture of the organization is very welcome. The first edition is won by Lisa Ashton who wins her first major TV tournament. The next year it's Wales' Julie Gore who lifts the crown to make it her very first major win. In 2010 it's the Golden Girl Trina Gulliver who completes her list of TV titles, she beats longtime rival Francis Hoenselaar in the final. In 2011 there are 6 ladies represented who play in 2 groups of 3. It's Deta Hedman who brings back the title to England.
